Who We Are

Founded in 1995 as a residential tiling contractor in Auckland’s West, APT has grown into a trusted provider of professional Tiling and Waterproofing services for commercial and institutional clients across Greater Auckland.

We work with the full spectrum of materials — porcelain, ceramic, granite, marble, travertine, sandstone, slate, fossil stone, and concrete installing tiles, slabs, and pavers across a wide variety of substrates and project environments. Our depth of experience means we bring the right knowledge and skillset to every job, regardless of scale or complexity.

Beyond installation, we supply a carefully selected range of tiling and waterproofing products and accessories at direct from importer and wholesale pricing making us a practical one-stop resource for builders, tilers, waterproofers, and homeowners alike.

We also offer a comprehensive Project Management service, working closely with clients, developers, architects, and project specifiers from the pre-construction and design stages through to completion. This includes feasibility assessments and cost and material optimisation helping projects run smoother and smarter from day one.

Kiep Truong

Director
Kiep is a highly experienced Director with over 20 years of expertise in flooring, tiling, waterproofing, renovation works, and project coordination and management within Auckland’s commercial construction industry.

His professional qualifications include NZQA accredited tiling certification, and he is a licensed waterproofing specialist with extensive experience in the application of leading waterproofing systems, including Mapei, Ardex, Bostik, RLA, and Technokolla.

Throughout his career, Kiep has successfully delivered a wide range of large scale commercial tiling and waterproofing projects, developing a strong reputation for quality workmanship, technical expertise, and effective project leadership. His comprehensive industry knowledge and hands-on approach ensure projects are completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

A highly experienced construction professional with over 10 years of service at APT Group Ltd, specialising in project management, estimating, quantity surveying, and contract administration. Possesses extensive knowledge across a wide range of construction trades, with proven expertise in cost estimation, project planning, procurement, contract management, and project delivery. Recognised for strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to successfully manage projects from tender through to completion while ensuring quality, budget, and programme objectives are achieved.
